Регистрационный номер: F-AOHD Bloch 220 c/n 4 F-AOHD "Auvergne" of Air France being refuelled at Croydon. The Bloch 220 twins cruised faster at 170 mph and were introduced to replace the Wibault trimotors which were nearly 30 mph slower. The sixteen 220s used by Air France had eight seats on either side of the central aisle and each seat had a large window as this view shows. Several survived the war, including F-AOHD which was then operated by Ste Auxiliaire de Navigation Aerienne. The lack of external markings apart from the registration may indicate that this is a post-war photograph.
