    C/n 2140 G-ABIH went to the USA 11.31 to obtain US Approval for the Puss Moth 16.12.31 under 2-393 and became N770N. In 1938 it was bought by Rudolph Praschak of Long Island for $3000. Praschak again took possession of it after the war and by the time of this photograph in 1954 had flown it 580 hours.

    C/n 2142 was registered UN-SAA as the first aircraft in the third series of Yugoslavian registrations. Within this series the Sxx block seems to have been used exclusively by Aeroput aircraft.

    C/n 2147, after a brief spell as G-ABJB, became OK-OFK of Prince Kinsky, a well-known international sportsman. He was a serious traveller, as indicated by the wingtip navigation lights, and is seen here as organiser of a flying event

    G-ABJU c/n 2156 was owned by Col the Master of Sempill who used it for a number of intercontinental flights. In addition to spats on the mainwheels, in place of the tailskid it had a tailwheel by George Dowty's Aero Components Ltd of Cheltenham.

    Prince Kinsky's OK-OFK later became OE-TEK and was operated by the Austrian Aero Club of which he was President.

    G-ABJO c/n 2145 in which Mrs Westenra was flown 23,000 miles to the Cape and back by Capt Robert Mcintosh in 1931/2. The date and location are unknown but we suspect that it may be Brooklands and thus this would be one of the later owners. The actual fate of the aircraft is equally unknown.

    Following the Cape and return flight, Dunlop used G-ABJO to advertise its 'Intermediate' tyres. These were on interchangeable wheels which soon replaced the narrow high-pressure type on Puss Moths and other light aircraft.

Right side, air brakes control lever; left side, trimmer quadrant, throttle and mixture levers above with circular friction nut. Instruments: top L to R, RPM, ASI, Compass repeater; bottom L to R, Oil pressure, Climb & Descent, Turn & Slip, Magneto switch, Altimeter, Oil Temperature. Above panel L is the openable clear vision panel and performance information is given on the labels on the map table.
