A three-view of VX350 as it appeared before its first flight on March. 12, 1951. Three of the proposed rear-end rocket housings were faired off with the fourth (bottom) one used to house the braking parachute. Apart from the fixed leading-edge slats and nose-mounted sighting post, the head-on view looked unchanged when the aircraft was modified during 1952-53.
