Neil Rose of Vancouver, Washington, USA is seeking a spinner for his nearly-restored ex RCAF Hurricane MkII, which he rescued from a junk yard in June 1965. First flight is set for June 1, 1983.
Spitfire L.F.MkVIII MT719, ex Wensley Haydon Baillie, made its first post-restoration flight in Italy on October 27, 1982, registered I-SPIT. Franco Actis is its owner.

A reunion of Imperial Airways and BOAC flying boat aircrew was held aboard Edward Hulton’s Sunderland in the Thames on the night of September 24, 1982, when the guest of honour was "Pathfinder" AVM Don Bennett. Seen on the flight deck are, left, Denis Whitham, who flew the Golden Hind, and, right, John Pascoe, who learned to fly in the Volunteer Reserve before the war.
