Making its international debut at Farnborough was the Rolls-Royce Viper 545-powered WSK-PZL Mielec Iryda M-93V prototype SP-PWE.

Sukhoi Su-29LL '02' (black) is being used to test the Zvezda SKS-94 Super-Light escape system for sports aircraft. An example of the seat is displayed in front of the aircraft.
Airbus A330-300 with RR Trent 768s
Flown just over two weeks before the show, PBN's BN-2T-4S Defender 4000 prototype G-SURV was one of very few new aircraft making its debut at the show where it was displayed statically with a BAe Sea Skua missile on one of the port underwing hardpoints.
