This Gorky-built Batch 34 LaGG-3 has been fitted with the 37mm Shpitalny Sh-37 engine-mounted cannon for use in the anti-tank role. It was replaced by the more efficient recoil-operated Nudelmann-Suranov 37mm cannon after a short time.
