  • Регистрационный номер: J-BAOG, J-BAPD

A line-up of two Avro 504Ks and a Mitsubishi R-1.2 during the 1928-31 period. On the left is Avro 504K J-BAPD of the Mikuni Flying School, while the version in the centre wears an Avro badge behind the cowling - so could be a UK-built import - and has a four-blade propeller which may indicate that it is a 130 hp Clerget-powered version. On the right the Mitsubishi R-1.2 appears to be J-BAOG, a converted Navy Type 10-1 with large frontal radiator to the 300 hp Mitsubishi Type Hi 8- cylinder water-cooled vee.

  • Some six Blackburn-built Sopwith Cuckoo torpedo bombers were supplied to the Japanese Navy in 1921 fitted with 200 hp Wolseley Viper engines. Here supervised servicing is being carried out on the port undercarriage leg of a Japanese Cuckoo II which is ready for an exercise with a torpedo on its crutch.

  • Регистрационный номер: JN310, J-BALD, N7183

A Japanese Cuckoo II with underwing bomb racks carrying a serial number which may be JN310. One of the Cuckoos was converted to a two-seater and re-engined with a 220 hp Hispano Suiza by the Itoh company in 1927. As a civil machine it was registered J-BALD but the purpose of this conversion is unknown.
