Bombardier Global 5000

Global Express.
Global Vision.

Bombardier announced that it had delivered the first Global 7500 equipped with dual head-up displays (HUD) on August 24, 2020. Enhanced and synthetic vision overlays can be displayed on the screens in the line of sight of the pilot and co-pilot, permitting easier switching of responsibilities between the flying and monitoring crew member during low-visibility approaches, as well as system redundancy. The feature is an option in the Vision flight deck of the Global 7500, the largest member of Bombardier's business jet family. The Canadian company delivered five 7500s during the second quarter of this year, representing a quarter of the business aircraft it handed over. This is down from the 35 deliveries recorded during the comparable period last year.
The Global 7500 is fitted with Bombardier's Vision avionics system, based on Collins Aerospace's Rockwell Fusion system, featuring four large colour displays, head-up display, enhanced vision system, and synthetic vision system.

The major difference between the Global 7500 flight deck and the company’s Global 6000 business jet is the use of sidestick controllers for the fly by wire flight control system. The controllers are based on those fitted to the C Series (Airbus A220) airliner.
