US Air Force B-52H Stratofortress 60-0022 ‘LA’ from the 2nd Bomb Wing’s 96th Bomb Squadron ‘Red Devils’ at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana, flies in formation with Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF)/92 Squadron F-15SA Advanced Eagles 9241 and 9244 from Dhahran over the Middle East on December 10, 2020. The B-52H was one of two that flew an almost 40hr round-robin mission from Barksdale to train with the RSAF aircraft as part of a Dynamic Force Employment mission. They were later joined by two USAF/391 st Fighter Squadron F-15Es, 90-0242 'MO' and 90-0243 ‘MO’, on temporary deployment to Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE

The first Pilatus PC-21, E.27-01/10239/HB-HWA ‘792-01’ (c/n 314), destined for the Spanish Air Force, took off for its maiden flight from Stans in Switzerland on December 14, 2020. Currently, Spain has 24 of the single-engine turboprop trainer aircraft on order from Pilatus under a contract signed on January 30, 2020
United Arab Emirates Air Force Saab 340B AEW&C 1332 at Larnaca Airport, Cyprus, on December 18, 2020, after arrival in the early hours of the morning from Wejh, Saudi Arabia, along with a second example of the type, 1331. They departed in the evening for Rome-Ciampino, Italy, en route back to Saab in Linkoping, Sweden, having been replaced following the delivery of two Saab Bombardier 6000 GlobalEyes in April and September 2020. Saab announced on January 4, 2021, that the UAE had signed a contract for two more GlobalEye systems on December 30

Anonymous-looking new Airbus C-295 EC-003 (c/n S-188, allocated N291LH) callsign ‘CASA988/AED988’ on approach to Getafe, Spain, on December 16, 2020 after flying over from Seville/San Pablo Airport prior to departing for Lajes and onwards to the USA. The aircraft was one of three departing from Seville on that date, the other two, EC-002 (c/n 189, to be N292LH) ‘AED989’ and EC-006 (c/n S-191, to be N293LH) ‘AED991,‘ routed direct to Lajes. The following day all three, wearing the same overall military-style grey scheme, continued to St John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. They are believed to be for L3Harris Technologies in Greenville, Texas.
