Collins Pro Line 21.

King Air 350

King Air.
Beechcraft Corporation delivered the first King Air 350i to Wheels Up during a ceremony October 21, 2013, the day before the opening of the National Business Aviation Association Convention in Las Vegas, Nevada. The membership-based private ownership operator has ordered up to 105 King Air 350is valued at $1.4 billion, including support services. The aircraft (N800UP) is the first of 35 scheduled for delivery by mid-2015, including a further eight that will be handed over by year's end.
Beechcraft King Air 350 N414RA (c/n FL-502, ex C-GBCE) was noted at Boeing Field/King County International Airport, Washington, on September 6, 2014. It had a standard four-blade propeller on the port engine, but a five-blade unit on the starboard, with taped over wiring from the cockpit to the nacelle. The modification's purpose has not been revealed. The aircraft was registered to FL 502 of Dover, Delaware, in early August, having previously been operated by Northern Thunderbird Air.
Beechcraft designed the King Air 350ER specifically with military missions in mind. This company demonstrator aircraft carries a representative ventral payload, although the majority of ISR King Airs carry a modified luggage pannier.
The size and performance of the King Air 350 make it ideal for many ISR missions.
L-3 is offering the Spyder, based on the Beech 350 airframe.
Although no orders have been announced for the Spyder, L3 has promoted the system in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The system was designed to be platform independent and can be tailored to the requirements of the customer.

The civilian-style colour scheme is routinely used to hide the true purpose of this type of aircraft, but the numerous additional aerials and sensor housings are a clear indication of its military role

Noted at Ouagadougou in Burkina Faso on February 19, 2014 was Beech King Air 350 N840CA (c/n FL-104) of Commuter Air Technology (CAT), in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. CAT provides aircraft for US Special Operations Command and the King Air is understood to have operated in Africa on its behalf since December 2013. Built in 1993, it features several obvious modifications, including a large number of aerials on the top and lower rear fuselage, and a pannier, which is frequently used to house electro-optical sensors in King Air surveillance variants. All but one of the cabin windows appears to be blanked out.
Several companies have offered special mission variants of the Beech 350, all of which take advantage of under fuselage panniers to accommodate mission sensors.

The Avenger T1 is a standard Beechcraft King Air 350ER (Extended Range) that provides an extra 1,000lb of fuel. Its main modifications are the multimode telephonic radar and internal Tactical Mission Trainer (Air) system.
A team of ten experienced Cobham Aviation engineers is responsible for maintaining the four Avengers. Maintenance includes a phase check every 200 hours and four phased inspections.
A large cabin, good performance, low airframe and operating costs and wide choice of sensors make the Beechcraft King Air family popular for special mission applications. This aircraft is one of five Shadow R1s serving with the RAF.
Like many of the special missions Beech 350 variants, little information has been released on the RAF's Shadow R1s. The long term future of the fleet is uncertain, as they were acquired to support operations in Afghanistan and funding cutbacks after the UK pulls out in 2014 may see them withdrawn.
The RAF's five Shadow R1s were acquired under an Urgent Operational Requirement and serve in Afghanistan.
One of four Shadow R1's (King Air 350CERs) in service with the Royal Air Force is seen at Kandahar airfield in Afghanistan.
Originally entering service in 2009 to augment operations in Afghanistan, the UK's Shadow fleet will be upgraded to the Mk2 variant in the latest award
