The Spanish Customs Service (Aduanas), part of the Spanish Ministry of Finance (Ministerio de Hacienda}, recently received a new Eurocopter AS 365N3 Dauphin (EC-KUH, c/n 777). The helicopter is the third of its type to enter service with the Customs Service, the others having been delivered in 2002 and 2004. The service also operates three Bo 105s and a BK117, plus six CASA C-212-200 Aviocars, flown by pilots of Ala 31 of the Spanish Air Force.

Three other Dauphin N3s are currently at Albacete for repainting before joining HU30-01 at the Guardia Civil air service headquarters at Torrejon de Ardoz Air Base, Madrid.

The first two HM-1 Pantera K2s were due to be redelivered to the Aviacao do Exercito Brasileiro (Brazilian Army Aviation) in March 2014. They will be handed over to the Batalhoes de Aviacao do Exercito (Army Aviation Battalions) for a technical and operational evaluation before work starts on modernising a further 32 HM-1s. Of the 34 helicopters, two will be rebuilt from wrecks and all will be redelivered by 2020. The Pantera K2 is re-engined with the Turbomeca Arriel 2C2CG, increasing power by 40%, has a new gearbox, an enlarged Fenestron tail rotor and Rockwell Collins Pro Line 21 avionics. EB-2010 (c/n 6359) is on the ramp of Helibras' facility at Itajuba, where the fleet will be modernised. The first Pantera K2 flew on October 24, 2012.

Amongst a record 72 fog diversions (60 executive jets and 12 commercial flights) into Southend Airport, Essex, on December 21, 2006 (the highest number since 1958), was this brand new Eurocopter EC155, G-ISSY (c/n 6757), the first for Bristow Helicopters. Only UK registered the previous day and still in primer, it was en route from the factory at Marignane, France, to Norwich for painting and is seen here departing from Southend just after lunch. It is the first UK registered EC155.
