Emirates' Boeing 777-31H(ER) A6-EPO (c/n 42334), pictured at Bologna, now wears Expo 2020 Dubai decals. The design is inspired by an ancient gold ring excavated in Dubai, according to Emirates. This is one of three 777s with the design; A6-EPU (c/n 42340) has the decal in green and A6-EPK (c/n 42330) has it in blue.

QinetiQ's Dornier-Dassault Alpha Jet ZJ646 landing at MoD Boscombe Down, Wiltshire, on January 31, 2018 following its final flight. The aircraft was delivered to Boscombe Down in March 2000, one of 12 former Luftwaffe Alpha Jets supplied to QinetiQ; four remained at the base as of January 31. QinetiQ's Alpha Jets were used by the Empire Test Pilot School based at Boscombe for the fixed-wing training course, currently undertaken with Hawk T1As, and in the future by two Pilatus PC-21s.

Lufthansa unveiled a new livery on February 7, 2018 at Frankfurt on Boeing 747-8I D-ABYA (c/n 37827) and Airbus A321-231 D-AISP (msn 3864). The revised design retains the crane logo on the tailfin but features darker blue paint extending from the tail down over the rear fuselage. The colour yellow, so familiar in the Lufthansa brand over the years, is not a feature of the new livery. Lufthansa says the colour will continue to feature on the airline's airport counters, staff uniforms and boarding passes.
