On October 4, 2012 Ceiba Intercontinental Airlines of Equatorial Guinea began a thrice weekly service between Malabo and Madrid-Barajas in Spain using Boeing 777-2FB(LR) CS-TQX (c/n 40668, ex 3C-LLS). The service is flown using White's Air Operator's Certificate, as airlines in Equatorial Guinea are on the European Union 'blacklist' and not allowed to fly to Europe. It is the first intercontinental service by the carrier, which also operates four ATR 42/72s to serve cities in Central and West Africa as well as domestic flights inside Equatorial Guinea. The airliner was purchased by the Ministry of Civil Aviation of Equatorial Guinea to allow international flights to be undertaken to support the economy and meet the growing demand for air travel within the country.

Three Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Bell UH-1H Huey IIs (21769 seen here, 21485 and 16452) were recently deployed from their base in Manassas, Virginia, to New York City for the 67th United Nations General Assembly, which opened on September 18, 2012. The helicopters were used for various missions including aerial security. They used the call sign OMAHA during the week-long deployment.

Sukhoi Superjet 100-95 RA-97002 (c/n 95023) arrived at the SuperJet International (SJI) facility at Tessera in Venice, Italy, on October 6, 2012 for completion. The aircraft is the first destined for Interjet of Mexico, the initial western customer for the airliner. It departed Komsomolsk-on-Amur in Russia the previous day and flew to Venice via Novosibirsk and Zhukovsky before arriving at Venice-Marco Polo Airport. Interior completion, customisation and painting will take place before the aircraft is delivered in March 2013, with Interjet pilots due to start type training at the SJI Training Centre two months earlier. Interjet ordered 20 SSJ-100s on January 17, 2011.

On September 25, 2012 N80GB was noted there, offering on-demand charter flights throughout the Caribbean and the South Eastern United States. Other modifications include replacing the original engines with more powerful Continental IO-550s with three-blade propellers. The aircraft is departing Boeing Field/King County International Airport, Washington, on September 27, 2012, where it was operated alongside the company's Learjet 24B (N49WA, c/n 124) to conduct air-to-air photo-shoots of United Airlines' first Boeing 787-8.

Beechcraft T-6A Efroni 498 (c/n PI-17) is seen at Glasgow International Airport in Scotland on September 18, 2012. The aircraft was on its delivery flight to the Israel Air and Space Force Flight Training School at Hatzerim. The ferry flight started in Wichita, the trainer stopping at Des Moines, Iowa; Saulte Ste Marie, Ontario; Quebec; Goose Bay, Labrador; Greenland; and Iceland before arriving at Glasgow. It departed for France on September 19 and flew via Italy and Greece before arriving at its destination. The aircraft is believed to be a replacement for 489 (c/n PI-8), which was damaged in July 2010, and has the distinction of being the final T-6A version to be delivered. Israel has already accepted 20 T-6As.

Boeing TC-135S 62-4133/'OF' of the 45th Reconnaissance Squadron, 55th Wing, based at Offutt AFB, Nebraska, is used as a crew trainer for RC-135S Cobra Balls. It arrived at RAF Mildenhall, Suffolk, on September 21, 2012 and conducted a training sortie around the British Isles, possibly with RAF crews to gain experience flying the type before delivery of the service's RC-135 Rivet Joints. The TC-135S was last at RAF Mildenhall in 2003 and the recent visit is the first since it was re-engined with CFM International F108-CF-201s.

Bombardier Dash 8 Q402 5Y-SMJ (c/n 4013) emerged from the paint shop at Eindhoven in the Netherlands on September 17, 2012 in the colours of Kenyan charter airline 748 Air Services. It was previously operated by SAS Scandinavian Airlines as LN-RDA and is seen on September 27. The Nairobi-based airline was founded in 1994 and derived its name from the Hawker Siddeley HS 748, two of which remain in service today, along with a single Cessna 208B Grand Caravan and two Dash 8-100s.
