Armstrong Whitworth A.W.650 и A.W.660 Argosy

Santa Monica Museum of Flying's Armstrong Whitworth Argosy T.2 N1430Z has had a reprieve: having been grounded but kept maintained since December 1991, it was flown to Fox Field in the Mojave Desert on December 31, 1992. The museum is planning to open a warbird base at Fox, and initially thought the Argosy would make a good additional attraction there. Now, however, it is thought that N1430Z will remain operational and be used for a variety of tasks - such as recovering warbirds from remote locations worldwide. The captain for the flight was Harry Barr.
